@gregordnb You do know that they make “jumpers” that do the exact same thing u did but they stay on there forever. I have about 50 of em in my dresser lol.

@ProffessorPwnage Yeah you can, my HDD has just started making funny noises when I try to use it and I get this error code… take the HDD out and it’s all normal. I aint gonna pay the stupid prices that M$ want me to pay for them to look at just my console though!!!

My xbox got the E68 to, but my xbox still works when I take out the HDD. So what I want to know if I could just buy another HDD or do I have to send it in for repair. I’ve been hearing you you have to keep the HDD that came with your xbox. Please help.

dodoSKULLPIRATE September 13, 2011 at 3:19 pm

j’ai egalement couplé ces 2 pins mais avec un jumper de disque dur et ca marche du tonnerre!

arabiansnchevys September 13, 2011 at 3:42 pm

That was a great video – just what I needed to fix my sons HD. For those who have posted this fix doesn’t work – it might not for you. E 68 is a general error letting you know the problem is with the HD not the xbox. Because of that there is a long list of things that could be wrong with your HD and the xbox isn’t going to tell you what it is. Thanks again for posting this vid :)

mikecairns1 September 13, 2011 at 3:55 pm

I did the same thing, but I used a hard drive jumper instead of aluminum foil. It works great! Thanks again!

1Burst2Deaths September 13, 2011 at 8:06 pm

My acount is worth to much to do that. Pluss a new abox for £150 if you take in a 360 and 120GB hard drive for 320GB new xbox with gear 3 or mw3 face plates with 2 controlers and the game

OurFalseHero September 14, 2011 at 1:54 am

For all the dipshits who listened to mr Bieber who tricked you all into busting your shit: When you remove your hard drive after having an E68 error, the console restarts, it doesnt stick at the E68 screen. He had another hard drive in the console. Niiiiiiiiiice….

mawio28 September 14, 2011 at 2:50 am

ok now after i throw my xbox out the window what do i do with the hard drive?

icekilla95 September 14, 2011 at 3:25 am

justin bieber?????????????

XxemothgirlxX September 14, 2011 at 4:08 am

wouldnt it be fucked up if u just broke ur hard drive and thought it was uselesss so u throw it out of the window to throw it away thus fixing it and someone else finds it lol

OhHopeh September 14, 2011 at 4:24 am

hitting it does work, but if you want to avoid the extra damage, i would just go with an open palmed slap a couple times, works for us, when it doesnt work though you will have to start throwing it out a window. had to sucker punch mine today to get it to work ^^

togud4yew September 14, 2011 at 5:15 am
